The Mayhaw Festival presented by First Financial Bank, El Dorado Chemical and the City of El Dorado is an annual street festival with craft and food vendors, vintage market, antique car show, Newton House Museum tours, 5K & 10K runs, kids activities, Mayhaw jelly and bluegrass music.

It is a great day of family fun held on the grounds of the Newton House Museum. The Mayhaw Festival is held on the first Saturday of May each year since 1992 and is put on by the South Arkansas Historical Preservation Society in El Dorado, Arkansas. This event is free and open to the public.

Silver Screen Series announces.....SUMMER "MONDAY MOVIE MATINEE"

Beginning:

Beginning on Monday, July 1st, and continuing every Monday through August 5, the Silver Screen Series will be adding a Youth Summer Schedule called MONDAY MOVIE MATINEE from 10am until 12:00 noon.  These screenings are free and open to the public including free concessions! So, for a little free summer fun we offer you 6 Mondays, 6 Movies, 6 reasons to enjoy El Dorado's Gallery of History!

FLAME - The Wonder Dog

It’s time for this generation to meet this amazing canine!  Flame starred in over 21 movies, notably as MY DOG SHEP (1946) and its  sequel, MY PAL series of shorts and the Rusty series.
