An excellent crowd of 77 people attended the joint speakers series event co-sponsored by SouthArk and the SAHF. Dr. Gary Joiner spoke about the Red River Campaign of 1864. The event was made possible by grant funds from the Humanities Council and was held on November 1st at SouthArk. Our thanks to Dr. Joiner for driving to El Dorado to give the lecture and we look forward to working with him in the future. Also, out thanks to the staff at SouthArk for their assistance with this project.
